Last Word
Have students do an acrostic with some term. For example, I've done this after a lesson on the Enlightenment with the word "Enlightenment."

About this blog
This blog is a resource for teachers looking for teaching techniques or strategies to use in the classroom. I originally created it for my own purposes, to archive and tag teaching strategies, so that it would be easy for me to find the strategies I needed--to close a class, say, or get the students moving around. I thought I would make it public, in case anyone else wished to use it. I only post techniques I have tried in my own classroom.
